Duncan Hill Designs is a professional independent practice based in the village of Danbury in Essex working locally & across the South East of England & beyond.

High quality design services provided are available for small urban & roof gardens, through to large country gardens, catering for both private & commercial clients.  

I personally guide every client through the various stages of the design process from the early conceptual outline design work, through to the choices of materials, planting, lighting & on to the all important build stages.

Many clients may only require a selection of the individual services provided based on where they are with their own plans, or may require us to work with architects or other design professionals.

Equally as important is to understand the personalities & past times of those that will spend their precious time in the garden & how this time will be spent.

Providing a unique dynamic design will transforms a garden into an area where clients feel they belong, representing an extension of themselves & their home.

Careful consideration is given to the seasons to ensure that there is interest in the garden year round, providing both immersive spaces to enjoy whilst in the garden as well as ever changing views from the home.

Duncan is a passionate garden & landscape designer who takes pride in creating amazing bespoke gardens & spaces for his clients, which are both aesthetically appealing as well as functional.

Duncan trained at the prestigious London College of Garden design based at Kew Gardens where he graduated with a distinction.  In addition Duncan also holds qualifications from the Royal Horticultural Society.

Duncan’s love of horticulture & design started at a very young age, although it wasn’t until he decided to leave the corporate environment that he could enter the rewarding world of garden design following in his families footsteps.   

Duncan has always had an eye for detail & perfection which comes through in his designs, whether that be in the garden design its self or in how a garden is built & planted.  This eye for detail makes the difference between an average garden & a truly amazing one.
