Contemporary garden Buckinghamshire
The design intention for this house was a modern contemporary garden based on a series of rectilinear areas of planting, water, terraces & gravel gardens. The terraces & large steps to the gravel garden all appear to float above the ground & are complimented with a modernistic planting pallet.
In order to make the most of the new glass backed extension it was important to allow the house & garden join seamlessly whilst also provide amazing views of the garden from inside the house both for daytime & at night through the use of subtle lighting.
The material used for the garden & floating terraces & steps is polished concrete contrasted with gravel in the lower garden & for parking at the front of the house.
